Unleash Your School’s Highest Potential

Leaders Make the Difference in Great Organizations

Great organizations are created by great leaders – leaders who can unleash the highest and best contributions of their team toward their organization’s most critical strategic priorities.  Every organization – and every leader – aspires to greatness.  But why do only a few achieve it?

The problem is that many leaders rely on an “old school” approach to leadership.  Great leaders not only see the world differently, they do things differently.  Specifically, these skills can be defined as the 4 Imperatives – the critical, essential functions of a great leader:

þ   Inspire trust and influence in others.

þ   Align systems and processes toward goal achievement.

þ   Clarify purpose by articulating why goals are established and how each individual contributes       to those goals.

þ Unleash the unique talent and contribution of each member of the team.

This 3-Day leadership training is facilitated by a team of highly successful and experienced
              school leaders:

Dr. Frank Bingham                   Executive Director of the Colorado Principals’ Center and former principal

Mr. John Youngquist                 Principal of East High School in Denver Public Schools and National Distinguished Principal, 2001

The design and materials of the program incorporate the best thinking of well-known leadership experts in how to meet today’s challenges, including:

Ø      Jack Welch (former head of General Electric)

Ø      Ram Charan (Execution: The Discipline of Getting Things Done)

Ø      Fred Reichheld (The Ultimate Question)

Ø      Clayton Christensen (The Innovator’s Dilemma)

Ø      Stephen R. Covey (The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People)

Ø      Stephen M.R. Covey (The Speed of Trust)

This innovative program utilizes a 3-day format, delivered over a 1-month period in order to

ensure adequate time for reflection, planning, and immediate steps toward implementing new

    tools, knowledge, and strategies.

The program takes a “mind-set, skill-set, tool-set” approach to developing leaders who can

immediately begin to unleash the talent and capability of their team to accomplish breakthrough

    results.

This training is even more valuable for teams: bring 3 or more from the same school or department and receive a $50 discount for each person.

More than just a training event, Great Leaders, Great Teams, Great Results takes a

process-oriented  approach  to developing great leaders and great teams.  The process includes:

  • The Leadership Quotient (LQ) – a 360-degree-type assessment to measure leadership ability.
  • A powerful, intensive, three-day training experience.
  • Robust online implementation tools.
  • A post-training “contract” in which participants will apply the skills and principles to their roles.
  • A comparative LQ to show improved leadership effectiveness over time.

                Great Leaders Need Great Tools

Each participant receives comprehensive materials produced by Franklin/Covey Co. that include:

  • A comprehensive guidebook.

  • Leadership Essentials, a resource book for leaders.

  • A CD with printable versions of the tools introduced in the workshop.

  • A program DVD with selected videos from the workshop.

  • Exclusive access to online resources for leaders, including the Leadership contract implementation process.
