Hello,
On behalf of our Board of Directors, welcome to the Colorado Principals' Center (CPC) website. The CPC is a collaborative effort on the part of 17 districts in the Denver metro area, as well as the Denver Area School Superintendents' Council (DASSC),
the Colorado Association of School Executives (CASE) and the University of Colorado at Denver & Health Sciences Center (UCDHSC), and the Front Range BOCES for Teacher Leadership.
Our Board organizes leadership development opportunities throughout the year for principals, assistant principals, and other school administrators. Our charge is to provide meaningful professional development opportunities to meet the needs of aspiring,
new and experienced administrators. If you work in one of our member districts, you are automatically a member of the Center. Our organization thrives on volunteerism, networking, and learning, so please consider getting involved and becoming an active participant.
We are excited to host the Colorado Principals' Center Annual Leadership Institute in November. In addition, there are numerous principals' conversations, salons and professional development workshops throughout the year. A series of classes for
educators who are interested in becoming school administrators entitled "Countdown to the Principalship" is offered annually in the spring. We encourage you to 'get the word out' to your colleagues about the many opportunities the CPC has to offer. Watch the website for more
details of upcoming events.
If you would like to know more about the Colorado Principals' Center, please browse this website. A member of our board will be in attendance at each of our events and available to answer any questions.
We hope to see you at one of our many CPC events. This promises to be an inspirational year!
